I wanted to generate a piece of artwork showing the futilty of the last months of the air war in Europe. Although the Fw-190d's of JG-26 take centre stage they are only delaying the inevitable as a sea of B-24 bombers proceed to their target.
The aircraft were all generated on 3d Studio Max. The bombers are very old meshes generated for a computer game and needed a lot of work to detail them up while the 190 was built a couple of years ago and also required some revisions.
